About Market Profile Indicator
The Market Profile indicator, documented and open-sourced by EarnForex (available on GitHub), depicts price density over time for MetaTrader 4/5 and cTrader, highlighting the most important price levels — the Value Area and Point of Control (POC) — for a given trading session.
It analyses where the most trading activity occurred using precise tick-by-tick data, generating a histogram showing exactly where price spent the most time at particular levels. It can be applied to timeframes ranging from M1 to D1, supports multiple session lengths, and even includes a free-draw rectangle mode to build a custom market profile of any arbitrary period.
