Defender EA is a commercial automated forex robot tracked on the forexstore.com advisor monitor, which publishes live statistics for it: a total gain of about 252% with a monthly rate around 22% over roughly 2,867 days (nearly 8 years) of live tracking, at a retail price of $1,299. Reseller stores such as fx-tools.net have listed the same robot with a crossed-out price of $1,477.62 discounted to about $26 — the usual pattern of a premium robot being resold cheaply. A robot surviving on a monitor since roughly 2018 makes Defender EA one of the longer-documented commercial EAs of its generation.
Honest caveat: the same monitor shows a maximum drawdown of about 51.9% — more than half the account at its worst point. That is an extremely aggressive risk profile: the "Defender" name refers to the marketing, not capital protection. An 8-year-old tracked robot also means the strategy was built for a very different volatility regime. Cracked "fix" builds in sharing packs are copies of the $1,299 product and may be tampered with.
