Despite the "EA" label on this page, the documented file behind this name is actually a signal indicator: Cross-ForexBO-dots.ex4, an 8.5 KB MetaTrader 4 file shared on the forex-station forums by member MaxTorque in August 2019 as part of the "DARK ENERGY FOREX SYSTEM" thread, where it was downloaded roughly 900 times. As the name says, it prints dot markers at ForexBO (breakout) cross points — the entry-signal component of that forum trading system rather than a self-trading robot. Systems built around it use the dots as entries and manage stops manually or with separate templates.
Honest caveat: a dot-signal indicator cannot trade by itself — if you received it expecting an auto-trading EA, you will be disappointed; entries need manual execution or a separate trade manager. Forum system files from 2019 also carry the usual risks: no performance verification, possible repainting (dot signals that move after the fact), and zero support. Test on demo and specifically check whether the dots stay fixed after the candle closes — that single check separates usable signal indicators from repaint garbage.
