About Close a Basket of Trades on a Target Profit
This MetaTrader 4 utility, documented at orchardforex.com and discussed extensively on Forex Factory, closes a basket of multiple (often hedged) trades once a trader-defined profit target is reached — monitoring all open positions together rather than closing them one at a time.
Documented, honest limitation: community testing found that once the profit target is reached, the EA begins closing positions, but if floating profit drops below the target level mid-process (common when price moves or the remaining negative trades are the last to close), it can stop partway through — leaving 1 or 2 trades still open. Understanding this behaviour is important before relying on it for full basket closure.
