The strategy enters sell trades when price breaks above the upper Bollinger Band and RSI is above 70 (overbought), and enters buy trades when price breaks below the lower Bollinger Band and RSI is below 30 (oversold) — a classic mean-reversion combination. Bollinger Bands widen during high volatility (signalling potential price movement) and narrow during low volatility (signalling consolidation), while RSI measures trend strength and overbought/oversold conditions.
