About Bollinger Bands EA (H1)
The Bollinger Bands EA, documented at theforexgeek.com, is a free MetaTrader 4 Expert Advisor built on the classic Bollinger Bands volatility indicator, calculated from the standard deviation of price around a moving average. It supports two selectable entry strategies: BreakOut (sell when the last bar closes above the upper band, buy when it closes below the lower band — a mean-reversion approach) and BreakIn (sell when price crosses back inside from above the upper band, buy when it crosses back inside from below the lower band).
It's compatible across multiple timeframes including 1 Hour (H1), Daily, H4, M30, M15, and M5, with customisable trading session filters and an optional Martingale mode.
