The Free Moving Average EA, documented at theforexgeek.com, is a MetaTrader 4/5 forex robot that trades using a single Moving Average line. If a candle crosses the Moving Average from below, the EA enters a long position; if it crosses from above, it enters a short position.
Key inputs include MA_PERIOD (default 50) controlling the moving average's period, and an optional Padding-in-Pips setting that requires price to be a defined distance above/below the MA line before opening a position — reducing whipsaw entries right at the crossover point.
